Sales Associate: Cruises Retail

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Retail Sales Associate for one of our clients operating on multiple cruise lines.

Talent Profile:

1+ years’ experience in retail or hospitality; luxury guest experience is a plus
Proven track record in driving sales performance through business development, product launches, or events
Minimum high school diploma; associate degree or higher preferred; studies in retail or hospitality is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Multicultural awareness and respect for others
Passionate about guest experience and the hospitality/retail industry
Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing retail environment
Able to retain and communicate detailed product knowledge
Positive attitude, organizational skills, and teamwork
Exceptional guest relations and creativity in creating memorable experiences
Commitment to integrity and professional business standards
Proficient in Microsoft applications and POS software

Contribute to achieving guest service rating targets
Receive positive guest comments
Achieve personal sales and jewelry leads goals
Maintain visual compliance standards
Compliant in all areas of Asset Protection

Non-Negotiables:
Minimum 21 years old
Able to travel and live/work on a ship
Available for 6-month contracts, 7 days/week, up to 77 hours
Valid passport and, if possible, seaman book
Able to stand long periods and participate in boat safety/emergency drills
Able to lift, pull, and push merchandise/fixtures up to 55 lbs using proper safety equipment
Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Salary: USD 900 net per month plus commissions.
